Guidance for Applicant Clubs

Equipment Bundle

The Rhyl Football Club Supporters Trust (RFCST), in partnership with Queensferry Sports, is pleased to offer a £500 Equipment Grant to support grassroots football within the Rhyl area. This grant provides practical, on-the-ground support by supplying essential training and matchday equipment, helping clubs focus resources on participation, development, and enjoyment of the game.

Who Can Apply

  • Registered junior football clubs
  • Men's and women's football teams
  • Clubs based within the local Rhyl area, including those located within a 5-mile radius of The Hops & Barley Community Stadium, Grange Road, Rhyl
  • Both independent grassroots clubs and community-based teams are welcome to apply.

What the Grant Provides

The successful applicant will receive a £500 equipment bundle, supplied via Queensferry Sports, which is expected to include core items such as:

  • Footballs
  • Training bibs
  • Cones
  • First aid equipment

The final contents of the bundle will be agreed following selection, based on the club's needs and equipment availability.

Clubs wishing to apply, or to request further details, should contact the Trust by email with:

  1. A brief introduction to the club
  2. An explanation of how the equipment would benefit the club

Application Deadline

Application deadline: To be determined. The Trust intends to keep applications open until a suitable number have been received. Clubs are therefore encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Assessment & Terms

All applications will be reviewed by the Rhyl FC Supporters Trust. Once applications close, Trust members will vote to decide the recipient. The process is intended to be transparent, fair, and community-led.
